The Rising Tides: Summer Youth Leadership Academy is an in-person, six-week leadership program designed for high school and college students ready to confront the climate crisis and immigrant injustice while building power for their local community. Participants will learn essential skills in grassroots organizing, campaign strategy, and storytelling, while connecting with peers and mentors fighting for solidarity and social justice.
Rising Tides
Power Trip is a youth‑led civic media project that seeks to show how power operates in Los Angeles - both how it’s concentrated in the hands of a few and how it can be collectively reclaimed. We produce short, investigative videos that break down complex issues impacting our communities through a climate justice lens. Our approach combines culture jamming, storytelling, and political education.

YCSLA is a community-driven strategy to organize the public with demonstrations, climate strikes, school walkouts, and community mutual aid programs. We call on elected officials to divest from fossil fuels and incorporate protections for vulnerable communities facing the climate crisis.
